This project aims to learn how to design and fold an "X book." Then the risograph prints it by accessing the risograph printer. The main topic of my "X book" is the independent thinking of a designer. The book's contents aim to encourage designers to think uniquely and independently and not fear becoming the special one in a group of people.
The name of the book is "You Can Be The Green." Green represents uniqueness, and blue represents common.
I convey my ideas about this topic by writing texts and creating abstract pattern designs. X book is a good way to fold a book without using binding methods. You could easily unfold it to view what's inside and fold it back. It's good media for creating promotional materials.

Out page design
The out-page design includes six small pages and the front and back cover. I used the whole inner page to design a poster. It's an impressive experience to figure out the specific sequence of X book, and you must ensure the page's sequence is correct after you fold it.
Inner page design
Risograph printing is another thing I learned from this project. It's a fun experience to operate the risograph machine to print several copies of my work. To print with the risograph method, you have to set your design in layers, and one color is one layer. You can only print with one color each time, and you must change the color roll for the machine every time you need to print with another color. The risograph printing method restricts the design, and I can only include simple design elements that require limited colors.
