Wayfinding design could be divided into three categories: Identity (inform one specific place), multidirectional (inform visitors how to reach different places), and orientation (general information about the place). I designed the wayfinding signs for the health center and Insectary building. Each place includes the sign of three categories. The graphics and colors used for the signs are related to the function of the building. Signs for the health center include graphics of flowers and icons of nurses, and the main colors are blue and green to present the meaning of health. Signs for the insectary buildings include graphics of different insects, and the main color is green to present the meaning of nature.
I put a man as a reference substance to show the size of those signs. I learned the proper size of wayfinding signs and other knowledge of wayfinding design.
