The children's book illustration project practiced the skills of storytelling, character design, and illustrations. The book "We are naughty kittens" is about the story between two cats and one rat. Introduced their peaceful, simple, and interesting life in a nice house and a beautiful garden.
It's a comic book, and four illustrations form a simple story. There are fifteen short stories included in the book. Stories are short and simple, with understandable illustrations. The target audiences are kids aged 2-5 years who cannot read texts and are only able to understand simple stories. The comic book design improved my knowledge of how to create a smooth transition between distant and close views, how to create an understandable scene to form the story well, and the best time to show details or the general scene.
I also created promotion products and applications derived from the story, such as keychains, physical stickers, dolls, animated sticker sets, and hoodies. We could always see those promotional items on the market derived from famous movies and characters. People may purchase items with their loved characters on them. It's an important skill for designers to create promotional items from a brand or a product.

Online communication is becoming common and has even started to play a crucial role in people's daily lives due to the quick advancements in mobile technology. As mobile instant messaging has become a major means of communication with the widespread use of smartphones, a new form of communication has emerged, and sending digital stickers has become common while chatting online. These have developed into essential tools for mobile communication, allowing users to effectively and energetically express their feelings, attitudes, and emotions. They enhance one's expression when combined with words and text. They may occasionally go beyond words and text to convey a certain mood, meaning, or conception.
The characters become functional sticker sets with different facial expressions, expressing different emotions and meanings. It has become functional when it turns to the sticker sets. I published the sticker sets on Wechat, so everyone could download and send these kitten animations. It's an interesting experience that transfer characters from comic book to digital animation, then releases the sticker sets for public use.
