This project aimed to explore 2D and 3D versions of the same character design. The mid-autumn festival is a traditional Chinese festival. Mooncake is the traditional food for the mid-autumn festival. The character design is based on the appearance and characteristics of the mooncake. Users could download this sticker set and send these stickers to friends to express their blessing for the mid-autumn festival.
2D and 3D versions of the character could provide different visual effects. The comparison is interesting, and I learned how to transform a 2D design into a 3D one. Both versions of the sticker sets are published on WeChat.
